1. Be Fiscally Responsible
Partially Achieved. I did a good job cutting down on my shopping and building up my savings account. However, I'm still spending more money on lattes, booze, and restaurant meals than I should be. I was hoping to pay off my credit card debt as part of this goal but with my roommate moving to Chicago and needing to furnish the living room, it didn't happen. I definitely need to make another financial resolution in 2013.
2. Excercise, Excercise, Exercise
Achieved. Between regular workouts in my building's gym and jump starting my fitness routine with bootcamp, I feel like I did a good job with this resolution.
3. Date
Achieved. P kinda interfered with this plan since we met about 2 weeks into 2012 but I feel like I've still managed to make some great progress here. Since we stopped seeing each other exclusively, I've gone out with a few different guys. It's definitely helped me realize what I do and don't like in guys I date and what I need out of a relationship. That was the whole point of this resolution so I'm considering it achieved.
4. Read More Books
Achieved. I wanted to read 25 books in 2012 and I did it!

I think those are all great resolutions! I need to get better with the $$ too. Especially after this holiday season. My goodness, my credit card has been screaming lately! haha
ReplyDeleteGood for you dating more guys--it CAN be fun, and like you said, it definitely helps you figure out what you do/don't want. And makes it easier to recognize those things much faster!
hah i love the "date more guys" such a fun goal!!! and I'm with you on spending too much money on restaurants, booze and lattes! they always add up so fast!! can't wait to hear your goals for 2013
ReplyDeleteGreat job keeping your 2012 resolutions!! This is so terrible, but I can't even remember what resolutions I made last year. I seriously need to document mine this year so I can check my progress! I love the "date more guys" resolution :)
ReplyDeleteGo girl! I sadly can't even remember my 2012 resolutions... maybe I should've blogged them for safe keeping.
