Thursday
Thursday was a very very big day...my college roommate got married! She and her husband are planning a formal wedding for 2014 when he returns from his deployment but they decided they didn't want to wait and held a small ceremony on our college campus. It was just perfect. Jbunny officiated, their parents came into town, and our little college family was there to support them. It was such a happy day to watch the two people that we've all loved and cared about for the past six years commit their lives to each other.
After the ceremony, we took pictures, had happy hour at Founding Farmers, an amazing dinner at Aroma, and then spent the rest of the night celebrating at Elephant and Castle. It was wonderful to be able to share in their day and get to know the bride and groom's parents!

Saturday
Saturday was one of my very good friend's birthday party and the theme was "man brunch". We filled the tub with beer, drank "manmosas" (beer and orange juice), and his girlfriend cooked the most delicious brunch dishes (cheesy potato casserole, sausage pancakes, egg and sausage casserole, boozy french toast, candied bacon, and tater tots yummmm). After we brunched, we played this ridiculous but oh so much fun game where you duct tape your beer cans together as you drink them. Once you reached 5, you became president and could make up a rule. When someone else reached 5, they had to battle the current president with their beer can staff. Whoever's didn't break, became the new president. It was HILARIOUS. I have some seriously awesome friends.
After man brunch, I headed back to Jbunny's place for some much needed girl talk. This lady is such an excellent friend and it was really a wonderful time. Then I headed out to meet C and a few of her friends at Marvin. I love Marvin but it was super packed and we were in the mood to get our dance on so we headed over to El Centro. They always play fantastic music there! The girls wanted to call it a night a little earlier than I did so I ended up wandering over to Solly's for a quiet drink with one of my guy friends. In typical Leanna fashion, I still didn't want to call it a night when Solly's closed. I had every intention of wandering over to D's to see what the boys were up to but sadly, homeboys were passed out by the time I called them. Oh well...it was probably time to call it a night anyway.

After dinner I rushed home to catch the Oscars with the roomie. I thought Seth Macfarlane was HYSTERICAL! What did you think?

So many things I love. This weekend. You. Being the president. All the things. Love you, girlie!
